2017 Stanley Cup Finals

The Stanley Cup.

Now that the Conference Finals have been completed, the Stanley Cup Finals are now set to start.

In the Finals, the Prince of Wales Trophy winners Pittsburgh Penguins  (Eastern Conference Champions) are set to face off against the Clarence Campbell Bowl winners Nashville Predators (Western Conference Champions.)  Game 1 goes down on May 29th, 2017 in Pittsburgh.

The two teams split their two game series in the regular season.  This is Pittsburgh’s second consecutive appearance in the Finals, after beating San Jose last year to win the Stanley Cup.  This is their sixth appearance overall in the Finals.  This series marks Nashville’s first appearance in the Finals, after joining the league in 1998.

Look for Pittsburgh to repeat as Stanley cup Champions in a six game series.
