Final Time in Toronto

One September 7th, 2026 the Canadian Snowbirds participated in the Canadian International Airshow for the last time prior to the retirement of the current fleet.

This is the end of an era for the Snowbirds, the Airshow, and Canada as a whole.

The Snowbirds started in June 1971, so this year marks the end of 55 years of tradition – with a three hiatus before new planes are finished. The Snowbirds became their own Squadron of the Canadian Air Force in 1978.
