Team Canada Set to Defend World Juniors Title

The 2019 edition of the World Junior Ice Hockey Championship opens today in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia.  Team Canada is the defending Champions and are looking to retain the title on home ice.

The team plays four round robin games:

December 26th, 2018 vs. Denmark
December 27th vs. Switzerland
December 29th vs. The Czech Republic
December 31st vs. Russia

This year’s roster consists of the following players:

Goaltenders:

The team Captain is Max Comtois, with Jaret Anderson-Dolan, Ian Mitchell, and Evan Bouchard serving as Alternate Captains.  The Head Coach is Tim Hunter.
