The World Series is now set and will start today, October 24th 2017. The National League Pennant winners, the Los Angeles Dodgers, will face off against the American League Pennant winners, the Houston Astros.
The Dodgers have home field advantage thanks to having 104 wins vs. the Astros’ 101 wins.
The Dodgers are making their first World Series appearance since 1988, and their 19th trip to the World Series. For the Astros, this is their second trip to the World Series – the last time being in 2005 as a member of the National League.
The last time these two teams met in the postseason was way back in the 1981 NLCS, which the Dodgers won in five games. The two teams did not meet up in the regular season.
Look for the Dodgers to win the World Series in a six game series.
