Today, May 23rd 2017, marks the 50th anniversary of GO Transit commencing operation. On May 23rd 1967, GO Transit started commuter operation in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with service from Hamilton in the west to Pickering in the east.
As such, Happy Birthday GO Transit! Here’s to the next 50 years!
