The 121st World Series is now set and will start on October 24th, 2025.
The Los Angeles Dodgers (93-69) will face off against the Toronto Blue Jays (94-68.) The Blue Jays will have home field advantage due to their better record.
The Dodgers beat the Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, and Milwaukee Brewers to make it to the World Series while the Blue Jays beat the New York Yankees and Seattle Mariners to make it to the World Series.

The Dodgers are making their second consecutive appearance in the World Series and are the defending World Series Champions. They are looking at winning back-to-back World Series titles in franchise history, and to become the first team since the 2000 Yankees to do so. For the Blue Jays, they are making their first appearance in the World Series since 1993. The Dodgers are 8-14 in the World Series while the Blue Jays are 2-0 in the World Series.
This is the first time since the 1992 and 1993 World Series (both won by the Blue Jays) to feature a non-US based team, and only the third time in the history of the World Series to do so.
The Dodgers join the Phillies as the only two teams to have faced both Canadian based MLB teams in the playoffs on two occasions (both teams faced the Montreal Expos in 1981 while the Phillies met the Blue Jays in the 1993 World Series.)
Look for the Toronto Blue Jays to win their third World Series title in franchise history in a closely fought seven game series. Throughout the MLB playoffs this year I am 10-0 in my predictions.
