The Major League Baseball (MLB) 2025 playoffs have now reached the American League and National League Championship Series (ALCS and NLCS) and only four team remain.

Let’s take a look at the match-ups:

In the American League Championship Series the Seattle Mariners take on the Toronto Blue Jays. This is the first ALCS since 2016 not to include either the Houston Astros or the New York Yankees. The Mariners won the AL West title with 90 wins while the Blue Jays won the AL East title with 94 wins. The Mariners beat the Detroit Tigers in the ALDS to qualify while the Blue Jays beat the Yankees. Look for the Blue Jays to win in six games.

In the National League Championship Series the Milwaukee Brewers will have home field advantage against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers beat the Cincinnati Reds and Philadelphia Phillies to make it to the NLCS while the Brewers beat the Chicago Cubs. The Brewers won the NL Central Division title while the Dodgers won the NL West title. Look for the Dodgers to win in seven games.
