MLB Divisional Series Set

The American League Divisional Series (ALDS) and National League Divisional Series (NLDS) are now set.

Let’s take a look at the match-ups for the divisional series:

In the American League:

Detroit Tigers vs. Seattle Mariners. The Tigers beat the Cleveland Guardians to make it to the Divisional Series. The Tigers earned the third wild card spot while the Mariners are the American League West Division winners.

New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays. The Yankees and Blue Jays both ended the season with identical records (94–68) but the Blue Jays won the American League East Division title with an 8-5 against the Yankees. The Yankees beat the Boston Red Sox in the wild card series to make it to the divisional round.

In the National League:

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Philadelphia Phillies. The Dodgers won the National League West Division title and beat the Cincinnati Reds to make it to the divisional series. The Phillies won the National League East Division title.

Chicago Cubs vs. Milwaukee Brewers. The Cubs won the first wild card spot and finished second in the National League Central Division. The Brewers won the National League Central Division title and had the best record in the majors at 97–65.

Each series is a best-of-five series.

Look for the Mariners, Blue Jays, Dodgers, and Brewers to advance to the League Championship Series (LCS.) In the wild card round I went 4-0 with my predictions.
