The 2025 National Hockey League (NHL) Conference Finals are now set.

Let’s look at the match-ups:

Eastern Conference

Florida Panthers vs. Carolina Hurricanes
The Panthers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs to make it to the Conference Finals while the Hurricanes beat the New Jersey Devils and Washington Capitals. The Panthers beat the Hurricanes in four straight games back in 2023, the only other times the two teams have met in the postseason. The Panthers won two out of three games in the regular season and are appearing in their third straight Conference Finals. Look for the Hurricanes to win in seven games.

Western Conference

Edmonton Oilers vs. Dallas Stars
The Oilers beat the Los Angeles Kings and Vegas Golden Knights to reach the Conference Finals while the Stars beat the Colorado Avalanche and Winnipeg Jets. The Stars have won six of the nine postseason meetings between the two teams and is a rematch of last year’s Western Conference Finals. The Stars won two of three games in the regular season. Look for the Oilers to win in six games.
