Veteran stage and screen actor Robert Hardy has passed away at 91.

Mr. Hardy was known for his appearance in the television series All Creatures Great and Small, Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge in the Harry Potter movies, and appearing as Sir Winston Churchill in several television series.

Mr. Hardy was also a veteran stage actor, including appearing in Shakespeare plays, most notably in Coriolanus alongside Lawrence Olivier.

Mr. Hardy was married twice, and leaves behind three children.  He was made a Companion of the British Empire (CBE) in 1981.
