David Canary has Passed Away

Veteran television actor David Canary has passed away at the age of 77.

Mr. Canary was especially known for his roles as Candy Canaday on Bonanza, and as twins Adam and Stuart Chandler on All My Children.

Mr. Canary also starred on the stage, in productions of Kismet, Man Of La Mancha, The Fantasticks, The Seagull, and Macbeth.

When Leonard Niomy was in a contract dispute over appearing in the original series of Star Trek, Mr. Canary was on the short list to be asked to take on the role of Mr. Spock.

He would also have guest role on several television shows, including Law & Order, Kung-Fu, Hawaii Five-O, and Remember WENN.

Mr. Canary was married twice: first to Julie Anderson from 1965-1971, and then to Maureen Maloney from 1982 until his death.

Mr. Canary died November 16th, 2015 of natural causes
